Really fun/cheap guitar!
This is a really fun guitar. Sure, it's a little rough around the edges, but that can be corrected pretty easy. First off, I bought this guitar as a mod platform/project. That is, I knew I would be making some modifications to it to make it more fun to play. Out of the box and before modding, it was very much playable. The frets were a little sharp. The neck was a little rough. I found the the original tuners would lose tune (slipping?). Other than that, it was fun to play right out of the box! I would recommend it. If you're up for some light modding, you can really make this a super fun guitar to play, Personally, I found these the most important: 1) Replace the tuners. I bought some cheap locking tuners (Musiclily Pro 6). The guitar stays in perfect tune now. 2) Sand/refinish the neck. Easy to do. Finnish it with True-oil / gun stock oil. The neck now feels SO much better! While you're there, polish and file down those sharp frets. 3) New bone nut. This may sound like a good bit of effort but it's really not. It took me a couple of evenings to do everything. I also shielded the guitar electronics cavity, replaced a capacitor, put on new roller string trees, In fact, I pretty much followed the "Guitar Geeks" guide and it was easy and fun. You can watch his rebuilding of a Squier Mustang on youtube! Search for "guitar geek Squier Bullet Mustang Modification". I just bought another one of these guitars for my daughter. I plan on doing the same modifications with her help this time. For a guitar at this price and play-ability, it's a no brainier.

I am a beginner, I bought this guitar to learn how to play. Hooked it up to the amp and sounds pretty good. Hopefully will sound even better once I learn how to play. Really like the color. I will buy again down the road.

Amazing Electric guitar! This was my first electric guitar and honestly it's great, I'm also very surprised the strings haven't broken yet for a guitar this cheap, I've had this for 7 months so far and it still works exactly the same. I replaced the strings to better ones and I've cleaned the frets and fretboard, and shined the guitar, cleaned the inside and now I feel like I'm holding a very expensive guitar. It is very fun to play and no issues whatsoever!
It's a good platform to mod

This is a step up from the older models, the tuners and the humbuckers are better. Also the body is a little thicker then the old ones at least on this one that I got. The frets are a bit sharp and not leveled in some places. I put a new pick guard and bridge on and made it a string through body see pics

This guitar is all-around pretty great. I use it mostly for practicing and jamming, but I've taken it to a few small venues and it was perfect!

What extra things would i need in order to play this guitar. I am new at playing electric guitar and I cant find much information about what I need to get for the indie sound. Do I need an AMP, peddals? And where could I find afforable accessories such as those to get that indie sound. Please list all the things I may need. Because I am completey clueless. I really really want the indie sound.
