I purchased this Affinity Series Jazz Bass for a friend after watching how much he enjoyed playing my Fender Jazz bass. He was thrilled with it. I tried it and was pleased to find them action and intonation were perfect right out of the box. It played great and sounded great through a small amp. I would use it to play a gig

First bass-dead pick up-put back on sales floor at full price! Second bass sent, dropped it prior to shipping, ok, I agree on discount (cosmetic damage). Still charged full price. Call GC about gear card charges, they agree I was overcharged but they can't do anything about it

I really like this bass. It's good looking, good sounding, and really well built. I didn't think it'd be that great because most people say Squier is bad, but this bass is awesome. The only parts I would think about replacing are the bridge and tuners (also the strings, but they're fine). The pickups are really nice.
Nice substitute for a real Fender.

Bought this item to learn on. It is a very well built bass. Sounds great through my PA using a direct box. Great job Squire!
Great bass for the price.

I use to have a Fender P-bass but it was stolen. I got this Squire jazz bass just to play around the house. This bass has a good feel and sounds great. Also, the setup and tones are awesome. Great price - Great purchase!

First bass that I have purchased that needed no adjustments!! Perfectly set up for me. Pickups really growl. I have 2 MIM jazzes. The neck on this more closely resembles the MIM than the Affinity. Got this for the look and just to practice but really really like it. Hate that the control panel and knobs are so cheap but definitely not sending it back!! Play with both volume controls maxed and tone backed off about 20%. This sounds awesome!! (Changed the knobs to some chrome ones that I already had)
