Great bass! Feels good. Sounds good. Set up very nice - didn't need to make adjustments.

  • Sounds a lot better than a standard squire.

Excellent sound and excellent quality except for a tiny blemish on the body paint job.

  • Good solid bass and a looker!

I bought this in the sale going on as it was a no brainer at the price. I have plenty of other basses and don't need one more but hey - too good a deal. Overall happy as there were no major issues with it. Only small defect was that the endpoint was pushed into the body (perhaps someone hit the floor firmly with it or something). I just drilled a fresh hole a little away and re-installed the endpin. No big deal. Bass sounds good and looks great

This series of basses is excellent for the price point. The neck on this Squier is excellent, the body is a perfect weight and shape. The pickups are surprisingly good It sounds great. The first one I got had a bad tuner, so I returned it and got a replacement which is all good. I haven't gigged in a long time, but next time I do, I'll take this, and leave my expensive bass out of harm's way at home. This will do the job.

I play guitar but wanted to get into playing bass so about 2 months ago i bought this after doing lots of research on some squires and i am beyond pleased. It's not too heavy and mine came out of the box with no signs of any damage. Once put into tune it holds for a while so you don't have to worry about tuning too often. Definitely pleased with my purchase.

What does the "LEVEL 2" in the title indicate? Is that in reference to the condition of the used status, or is that a fender/squier level?

What is the weight of this bass?

    Open Reply - Thomas
All basses vary depending on the density of the wood. Even the same model can vary up to 1.5 lbs Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Bass Guitars are generally between 8.00 and 10.00 lbs. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. This will be approximately 8.5 lbs
