I am a bass/keyboard split player in a trio. Unhappy with my "keyboard amp," I redesigned my monitor system incorporating an incredible QSC powered 12" speaker lined into the mixer. The Yahamah 10 channel board did not allow for 2 individual monitor outs and still have an effects control on each channel, hence the reason for the switch to the Soundcraft board. I was shocked and delighted at the improvement in vocal quality this board produced over the Yahama.
absolutely would buy this again from gc again.

Really Good Compact Audio Mixer

I'm surprised I'm the only one on GC site writing a review on this great little Soundcraft mixer. Very well thought out applied knowledge design. Let me put it this way, I first ordered a other big name brand compact mixer, I liked it ok but soon realized the short comings. So I made that mixer into a back up just in case, and now the Soundcraft is the main audio mixer. For the $100 difference the Soundcraft really has so much more transparency as I A/B both of them as well both fx's, Soundcraft really and clearly is the winner here. Only time will tell how dependable this mixer will be, BUT it seems VERY well built, after all it is a Soundcraft. Yes they should of incorporated a on and off switch, and the power cord does plug in underneath the mixer, but at least it's a three pronged internal plug as oppose to the two prong plug vunerable on floor power supply on the first mixer. The only issue I have with the Soundcraft is that the last channel only takes RCA or USB, to me this is a wasted input channel for my needs, would of loved another XLR/Line channel, but not a deal breaker, as I really like everything else about this mixer. So this is my review, would like to see others chime in, I did buy both my mixers through GC, and if your looking for a big upgrade in a compact audio mixer as oppose to the other brands, give this one a try and give it a chance, I don't think you'll look back!

Can this mixer output to an iPhone or iPad via usb for audio and video recording? If so, how? What do I need for connectivity?
1) Can you connect this to an iPhone or iPad via usb. Yes, you can. I don't know what your device will do .2) Plug one end into the mixer and the other into whatever you're using. 2) Live Wire Essential USB 2.0 Data Cable 5 ft. Black.
