Product is great and I would recommend it to anyone
Extremely easy to hook up. No parts to put together. A great upgrade to my previous rubber kick pad. Mesh head is more realistic than my previous rubber head. Be sure however to use a "plastic beater head" for your pedal with the mesh kick pad A felt batter head fibers will get into the mesh kick pad after time and ruin it. I use this electric kit for my band practices.

Doesn't seem durable
I bought this to replace a KAT kick pad which I could not find to replace directly. Figured this had good reviews so I'd try it out. I played the KAT set for almost 2 years just as aggressive as an acoustic kit and it held up great but this kick pad has a considerable dent in the mesh after about an hour of play. I'm going to try putting tennis balls on my beaters but the bottom line is, this pad doesn't seem like it can keep up with real drum playing. And on top of that my double bass pedal is a vey right fit as the bad is kind of narrow

My Roland KD-8 was getting worn out and I needed a replacement that wouldn't break the bank. When I saw the price on this thing I was a little skeptical, but this thing is a solid replacement. Money well spent!

The term mesh is used very loosely in the item description. It's more like a pad with a useless mesh coating. The frame is sturdy but again, doesn't make it a mesh kick pad. Didn't bother plugging it in, I'm just going to return it.
Does the job!

It's awful, can't even stand still when I'm hitting it. And it doesn't even pick up on my double bass pedal it's so small😑
Big improvement over my Titan 50 kick tower!

I bought this to replace my Titan 50 kicktower. The tower that came with the Titan 50 was okay, but it was very noisy and tended to rattle a lot especially when using double bass pedals. The KP2 feels so much better and is quite a bit more quiet. I also think that it looks better.

Is it compatible with Alesis strike multipad?
It may. It will very possibly be inconsistent. It’s not a good idea to mix brands of e-drums.submitteda year ago

Will this work with any electric kit with a 1/4" trigger cable? My son has The One EDM-200, and wants a tower trigger that he can use with the standard pedal he has. Just curious if there's a reason why it wouldn't work?

It´s compatible with Simmons sdmp 1 , and with simmons SD1
I’m sorry, I don’t know. I don't have one to check. The SDMP has ext trigger inputs so it should work. The pedala on the SD1 can be replaced.submitted2 years ago
