    This was exactly what I needed! I bought a used SPDX that did not come with a stand and I needed a way to mount it to my drum kit. I walked into guitar center and found this. The representatives at the store were very helpful. I told them what I was looking for and they showed me right where to look. #sweepstakes

    Great mount I'm super pleased with it. Just to clear some things up, this comes with a cast metal mounting post that " is made to fit most drum modules" as advertised on the Simmons website. It does fit a Roland SPD SX, which is why I bought the mount. Also it does not come with screws. Screws required for the SPD SX are M5-12 the Roland manual states no longer than 1/2" but I had some longer ones laying around and used plastic washers.

    Holds my Simmons pad well. Locks tight. Does not move. Easy to use on my rack or on a regular stand.

    It hasn't been tested . It may. It’s not a good idea to mix brands of e-drums.
