    The microphone is great. SM58s are definitely the best mics. The stand is not so great. The tripod is not stable.

    Shure 58' are a classic microphone to use most anywhere. For me we do live shows and podcast (DanceCast @ RadioKing) with this mic. To get this deal is a real bargain! I own 4 of these right now and we use them for everything. You need to know the range and sweet spots (see enclosed chart) for the best vocals but once you understand mic placement these are real workhorses. For my money there these are the "real thing" in microphones, every thing else is a dice roll at best. Want mics that are durable, reliable, and proven to be the standard (real thing supported by sound guys everywhere) buy these and this package is a great combo! Enjoy your new microphones!

    I pawned an SM 58 in the past and always regretted it. Reliable and tough mic. The stand is stable and seems well made.

    I've been using Shure products since the Fifth Dimension were promoting them back in the 70's. Never had a problem then, and I'm sure this road tested/studio tested SM58 will deliver now. Good package. Very sturdy mic stand, and I can always use another XLR cable.

    I’m very sorry, the manufacturer has not made that information available. Presently I don't have one to check. There is only one model of the SM58.
