The Shure SLXD3+ plug-on wireless transmitter is a compact, XLR-mounted plug-on transmitter designed to integrate professional wired microphones into the SLX-D+ digital wireless system, extending the platform to ENG, field production, broadcast and location sound applications. Operating with 24-bit/48kHz digital audio conversion and delivering a 118dB dynamic range, the SLXD3+ provides transparent audio quality and stable RF performance across its 138MHz wide tuning range (G57: 470–608MHz), supporting reliable multi-system operation in professional environments. The transmitter supplies selectable 12V or 48V phantom power, enabling direct use with condenser microphones, while a patented wobble-free locking ring ensures secure mechanical connection during handheld or boom operation. Integrated ShowLink Ease maintains continuous coordination with SLX-D+ receivers, allowing automatic frequency updates, remote power and parameter adjustment, transmitter locking and firmware updates without interrupting audio, with additional monitoring and control available via Wireless Workbench desktop software or the WWB Mobile app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Powered by two AA batteries or the optional SB903 rechargeable Li-ion battery, and featuring external charging contacts, onboard high-pass filtering, AES-256 encryption and a durable metal housing with protective sleeve, the SLXD3+ functions as a flexible, field-ready building block for expanding any SLX-D+ wireless system with plug-on microphone capability.
