    I'm just leaving this review in case anyone is wondering…of course this is the right clip for the sm81 as advertised, but I was happy to discover this model works perfectly with my Audix drum mics (D1, D2, D4, and D6). It's a perfect solid fit for all…so super useful. I'd dare say these are a more solid/stronger fit for the Audix mics than the Audix clips.

    This microphone is intended for an SM 81, get the model number is A57F. Given the limited descriptions, could easily be mistaken for the clip needed for an SM 57 or SM 58. I'm gonna have to return it.

    Given the model number having "57" in it and no other info in the listing besides the pictures, one would assume this is the same clip you get in the box with an SM57. It is not. It is very similar, but is actually the clip for an SM81 which is smaller in diameter. They fit a 57 or similar mic, but very tight and need a good bit of force to get the mic in or out.
