The Shure QLXD digital wireless systems are available in a variety of configurations that accommodate the needs of live presentation professionals from musicians to business leaders to auctioneers and beyond. This is the QLXD24/B87A system, which includes the QLXD2 handheld transmitter equipped with a Beta 87A capsule, the QLXD4 digital wireless receiver, instrument cable, power supply, two AA batteries, two 1/2 wave antennas, two BNC cables, zipper bag, two BNC bulkhead adapters, rackmount kit and user guide.

The half-rack QLXD4 digital wireless receiver quickly finds open frequencies and deploys them to transmitters via the one-touch sync function. The QLXD4 works with all QLX-D digital wireless systems, and features Ethernet networking and mobile monitoring and control capabilities.

With transparent 24-bit digital audio quality and incredibly efficient RF spectrum usage, the QLXD4 digital wireless receiver combines professional features with streamlined setup and operation. Automatic scanning quickly finds open frequencies, and one-touch IR sync quickly deploys them to transmitters.

Ethernet networking enables networked channel scanning across multiple receivers and Wireless Workbench software integration for remote control of receiver settings from a PC or Mac. Remote monitoring and control from iOS devices also is available via the ShurePlus Channels Mobile App.

QLXD2/BETA87A
With an interchangeable BETA87A microphone cartridge, the QLXD2/BETA87A handheld wireless microphone transmitter is ideal for wireless vocals in presentation spaces, music venues and houses of worship. It interfaces perfectly with the QLX-D4 receiver.

It offers up to 9 hours of continuous use with two AA alkaline batteries or up to 10 hours of continuous use with Shure lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, and comes with two AA batteries, battery contact cover, microphone clip and user guide.

The BETA87A is one of Shure's finest live performance microphone designs. It is a premium-quality supercardioid handheld electret condenser vocal microphone with exceptionally smooth frequency response and high sound pressure level capability. Used for professional sound reinforcement, broadcasting, and studio recording applications, the Beta 87A combines superb performance with the ruggedness needed for touring and field production.

The Beta 87A features a controlled low-frequency roll-off that compensates for proximity effect and prevents the "boomy" sound often associated with close pickup. The characteristic Shure presence rise brightens the upper midrange. The tight supercardioid pattern, with null points at approximately 125 degrees, provides maximum isolation from other vocalists or instruments while offering minimal off-axis coloration.
