I use this very often at church and other places. I've never had an issue with cutting out or interference. I use it at outside events also and have had no issues. I use this with my Taylor 214 and it always sounds amazing. The other thing to note is not to hit the antenna that hangs off the transmitter while playing. Just be mindful of wherever you decide to hang it on you.

I have always wanted a wireless system and this one is awesome! It says that it is line of sight for the receiver but I haven't lost any connectivity or sound quality walking all through my house. Great system! Would definitely buy again.

Changed everything about my playing. No more cable tripping or even worse - pulling. Get a right angle attachment if you need one and play on. Set up takes 5 minutes and stores easily. I don't know how to calculate my battery time but it lasts about 2+ weeks for me. Can't express enough how much i recommend this to anyone from beginners to performers. Thank you Shure & Guitar Center

  • Works great, better than the 2.4GHz systems.

I use this every time I play. It works great. Long range, no dropouts, probably due to 900MHz frequency on which it operates. Good battery life. I like that it uses AA batteries so I don't have to worry about having it charged before I play. I also have a couple of 2.4GHz systems, which either work fine or drop out like crazy depending on where I play. So, the 2.4GHz systems are hit or miss, but the PLX is dead-on every time. Only thing i don't like about it is that is doesn't automatically scan for signals, but I always use the same signal and it never drops out on me.

I play gigs out regularly. Pretty disappointed with this thing. It works if you are close to the receiver, but it cuts out on me even at short distances. It seems like the presence of other wireless devices, and even non-wireless instruments cause it to cut out.

Does the receiver on this come with a power supply? None of the photos shown indicate if this runs on A/C or also a battery system. Or do you have to purchase a separate power supply for the receiver? If you do, what one is preferred? TIA

    Open Reply - Ronald
The receiver is only battery power, but the transmitter does come with the power supply.

do you think this can make interference with my wireless g4 sennheiser

    Open Reply - Ronald
It's a possibility. You can combat that by double checking the frequency range.
