Clear and Accurate Live Mic

I use this mic for my clean vocals for rock and metal. Never had any feedback during a show, and it's much easier to deal with the sound guys using this. It cuts through the mix, and is very accurate. I never have to overcompensate in order to sing through it. I use it with normal and operatic singing with rock or metal in the background, and it works like a charm. However, it's so accurate I would not recommend to anyone who is not confident in their performance. My new favorite mic. I can't go back to the shure 58.

Just bought this mic last night and did my first show with it and WOW! I've been using a Sennheiser e945 and I like the 945 a lot. I was just looking to add a cool new stage mic to my arsenal and this is my new favorite. I was able to boost the monitors much higher with the 87c without feedback. I've never heard myself in the monitor better. It cuts through the mix with plenty to spare. I considered the 87a but went with the 87c because I occasionally use in ears. I'm glad I made this choice. I'm sure I'll be using it for a long time to come. I'm now considering adding a Neumann KMS105 to my collection. I can't imagine it being much better. This mic needs very little eq'ing. With loud stage volumes, this is definitely my new mic of choice. Try it, you won't be disappointed. I would however, not recommend this to a less than stellar vocalist. It is less forgiving than your normal dynamic mic. It is a condensor so keep that in mind before purchasing. But if you are a pro and if you can really sing, this is one of the very best. Happy hunting!

There is a world of difference between this and other mikes I have used.Much higher gain before feedback, and it doesn't color the sound of your voice. Well worth every penny!

This mic can do anything. Live Sound, Recording, Vocals, Amps. I have used this mic in many different ways and every way it has a great sound. I believe the best use for the mic is recording vocals. It is very clear and sound great. It also has a pop-filter. I recommend this mic to anyone for any application.
