    I bought this because the shure 55 wouldn't fit my mic stand. This adapter made it possible for me to enjoy my beautiful, retro microphone without having to purchase a new mic stand. I would recommend this product to anyone experiencing a similar issue. On a side note, I have the shure sm58 and the green bullet harmonica microphone as well. I highly recommend ALL Shure products. They are the top of the class in my opinion!
