Selmer Paris

Description

This versatile horn has excellent compression and "pop" in the midrange, to use a wildly non-technical term. While we're at it, let's add "sassy." It has a voice all its own. The Selmer TT 1903 trumpets feature a matte finish all around, very beautiful, and contributing to its warmth and color. It is a bit big sounding to be a full-time lead player's choice, but it will scream just fine up there if you frequent that range.

Smooth valve action, precision valves and a warm, velvety sound are what make a Selmer trumpet stand out among its peers. They are a fine choice for anyone in the market for a pro trumpet.

The "TT" in the model name stands for "Twin Tube," a reference to the double tube leadpipe (nickel-silver outer and brass inner), which lends it a a direct, centered sound that is very harmonically open. It has an excellent response and a wide dynamic range. Made in France.
