Seagull

collapse expand iconDescription

The Seagull Performer CW Concert features a stunning vintage look with a flame maple body, a Select Pressure Tested solid spruce top and onboard electronics. The Concert Hall model provides an excellent mid-range response due to its smaller, more narrow body size which is ideal for finger-style players. Fishman electronics on the Seagull Performer include a built-in tuner and are a standard feature on these models. This, combined with a cutaway and Seagull embroidered gig-bag, makes a great package for the gigging musician.

  • I've been playing since 1964. Best guitar I've ever owned.

The CH CW is amazing. It's relatively small and light but with a big sound that gets better with age. The neck is wide - 1.8 inches - which is just perfect for me and great for finger style. The guitar is well made, sturdy, and beautiful to look at. Other players have been impressed with its rich sound and unique appearance. After a set up it plays like butter with a great high and middle, and for a guitar of this size, a strong bass. the only thing I could ask for is better tuners, but these are adequate to the job. At this price point, I don't believe there is a better guitar on the planet. If you can't tell yet, I love mine and will put it up against any comparable Taylor costing twice as much.
