Only reason for 4 star is lack of time since I've had it.

I've been playing for 10 years. But this is my first real foray into 5 string. Out of the box she's a beauty. Perfectly set up then all strings tuned down a half step exactly. To lessen neck stress while in transit I'd guess.I let it sit for 24 hr.s to let it acclimate then tuned it up to BEAD Sting height, intonation all spot on. Zero fret buzz. Great pup and the three band eq allows for terrific amount of tone shaping. Funk to punk, rock to jazz and all points in between. It's all good. I found when looking at 5-string basses that for my hand nothing other than a much much more costly Ibanez felt as good. The thing that closed it for me was prior ownership (and sellers remorse) of a Schecter Stargazer. This Stiletto Stage 5 has better balance of the two. Overall I'm thrilled to ad this to the herd.
