My first Schecter, had tried some in the store and always like the sound of the stiletto series. It arrived today and got it tuned up and started playing some different styles. I am really loving this bass, the tonal range for whatever style you might play will meet your expectations and it is a very sweet looking instrument with the finish and color of the hardware. Experiment with the tone controls to see what suits your needs with your playing style. Setup out of the box after tuning I was very satisfied with the action, intonation and neck radius. Very playable, if you do harmonics this guitar handles them well. A definite "YES" on this one.

For years Schecter has prided itself on it's magnificent Quality Control and I heard great things about this bass. Not to mention the Vids on youtube (MaxProud Channel). The guitar was beautiful, had awesome action and sound.... But Schecter's quality has went SOUTH! The filling around the pearl inlays had gaps and the back side of the bass had light belt scratches. This led to Return #1. Got the 2nd.. Clear coat was peeling around neck bolts and the same inlay filling problem persisted. This led to Return #2. Third Bass came and was flawless..... Except for the electronics. One of the tone knobs was "dirty" and would actually kill the circuit to where no sound could be heard at all... Yup.. Chalk up to return #3... I have to give it to Guitar center, They made it right with me and I upgraded to a Studio 5. Schecter is definately not what it used to be. :(

Just picked this up today. I was looking for a 5 sting with dual humbucker pickups. For the price, this is a very good bass. Can't say anything negative about it. It plays very nice and has a great sound. The quality seems fine. It's made in Indonesia. I'll being using this to play mostly blues.

I just got this bass yesterday. It is my third bass, but my first 5 string. The factory set up is really good, I didn't need to make any adjustments, and the stock strings are great. The tension on the B string is perfect, it's not floppy like on some other 5 strings I've played. I got this bass in black, but the picture does not do it justice -- the finish is gorgeous. There are a wide variety of tonal possibilities with this bass. I'm a Schecter player for life thanks to the Stiletto Extreme!

This bass has everything that you will need EVER. It has powerful EMGs, the neck is way fast, its got a good thick tone that can play anything from The Who to Slayer. It's good for beginning to intermediate players. This is only the second bass I've owned but I've been to guitar center for ours on end playing every bass and this one really stood out. I love this bass, everything about it is amazing. The only thing i would update is get some more serious pickups but that is IT. Amazing product, Schecter always delivers.

I've had this bass for about 3 weeks now. First 5-string I've bought and I'm very happy with it. If you get the 1-year full warranty, it matches Schecter's 10-year, limited lifetime warranty, which is awesome. Slightly smaller and reasonably lighter as basses go. The dark chrome hardware is different and very nice. So is the dark, trans-ocean blue finish, which on this guitar has a slightly greenish tint when it hits the light a certain way. Makes it almost color-changing to aqua - very cool; the pic doesn't do it justice. The active EQ sounds wonderful. This guitar is a great value; nothing to complain about.
