I am really loving this bass. It has a nice sound and good action. I am a beginning bass player--so do not trust anything I say if you can slap and play on a bass like a pro. But this is a really versatile bass for me at an affordable price. And I think the natural look is fantastic.
The smoothest fastest playing bass I've found

I love this bass. I've played numerous makes and models over many moons and this one is by far my favorite. The neck is thin and smooth and it plays fast. the electronics are responsive and you can dial in any sound you want whether you're playing blues or metal and all points in between. I would recommend and am waiting for the new 2019 burst riots to stock and will be buying one if not both of them.

Played this bass at GC because I liked the look. Couldn't put it down. Had to take it home! That was 3 years ago and I have no regrets.

This bass guitar does it all. The standard EMG pick-ups allow explosive volume and super clean response. As a funk rock musician the action is a dream. Strings sit comfortably and allow easy sliding and bends. I'm impressed at just how many tones you can get out of this bad-boy. It can quite easily replicate the sound of a Fender J-Bass yet knock out heavier tones like clockwork. Slapping is ideal in this guitar because the action allows for quick and easy popping. Overall this is my "forever" bass. I think I've found my company in Schecter. This definitely rivals the Fender J-Bass and may even be a better choice. The price is also unbeatable!
Rickenbacker to Fender sound in a beautiful package

Finally, a bass that can mimic ANY bass sound. From Rickenbacker to Fender. You can get cello type sounds with a simple volume pedal, I play lead guitar lines on it and it delivers. Beautiful power chords which I play a lot. It's absolutely beautiful too boot! The neck is super thin smooth and fast for getting out that inner Geddy Lee/Chris Squire child. I have the Schecter running through a Fender Rumble 200 and a TC Electronica Chorus. The sound is so personally tuned, you'll never remind anyone of another bass player. Don't even think about it. Best band for the buck you will EVER find.
