Got this as my first real bass in 2013, the quality is fanatistic, I have spilled and dropped it a few times over the years and played several socal gigs and a concert hall for the last 8 years, fantastic warm tone great for any genre even blues, nothing has never broke either quality

The beauty of knowing I can always return it if I don't like it. But this isn't the case for this beauty! Overall satisfied!

This bass is very stylish and very good for the young basses to the old. when I got this bass its quality did not change over time and the quality is great. This was my first bass and it called out to me in the shop because of the color and how much my dad wanted me to get it after i tried it out. There is a small bit of fret buzz which is not always great because i play alot of punk rock and hard rock when the basslines are more important. This bass is great for about any music you like its great because now I have three basses and my first is the most memerable because of its awesomeness.

Titled 'Schecter C-4' Good review and all, just wanted to clear up that this bass, and the old C-4, do NOT have active pickups. They have a 2 band Active EQ circuit. Not the same thing. I actually called Schecter about it this morning trying to find out what kind of pick-ups the C-4 had because i thought they were active but none of EMG's active pick-ups looked like what i had. And that got cleared up. But other than that, yes, the C-4 is a GREAT bass, and i'm sure that this bass wont let you down either. I borrowed my friends for about 2 months, which had been sitting in his garage for 2 YEARS! It played like a dream, so when i had to give it back and go back to playing my Squire P-Bass, i decided i had to buy it, or die trying. No, but seriously, its well worth your money people. If you have a Schecter carrier near you, go give it a try.

A couple years ago, actually, I bought Schecter's C-4 bass, which is essentially the same thing as the Extreme-4. I don't think I could be more satisfied with it. The super fast neck allows for easy playability, and the incredible action makes tapping a breeze. I usually play in drop D or C#, and I don't get a bit of rattle. (I tweaked my truss rod a little, and upgraded to XL's medium gauge strings.) The active EMG pick-ups allow me to play punk one minute and metal the next. Highly recommended to ANYONE. ~Look up my review on Bugera's BVP 5500 tubed bass amplifier!)
