The KM-7 MK-III 7-String Electric Guitar is the latest generation of Keith Merrow's signature 7-string from Schecter Guitar Research. As one of today's progressive metal players, Keith and Schecter have updated his ultimate signature guitar for an impressive increase in performance. The KM-7 combines all of the upscale features needed by Keith's technically brutal playing. These include a comfortable body and an ultra-thin, reinforced neck. The ebony fretboard has a compound radius and 24 stainless steel extra-jumbo frets. Electronics feature Merrow's new signature Fishman Fluence humbuckers with a 3-way mini-toggle that switches from PAF to Keith Merrow Custom to single-coil voicing for a huge range of tones. Black hardware comprises a Hipshot high-mass hardtail bridge and Grip-Lock locking tuners. Case sold separately.

    Schecter really captured Keith's sound and aura in this guitar. Smooth, comfortable, and fun to play. And the specs on this guitar could easily make it cost way more, but at sub 2k it's a steal! Best 7 string I've owned.

    Amazing quality build, amazing visually. Pickups leave a lot to be desired, and based on the routes, you're stuck with open coil pickupsand the current control options. Otherwise, I can see why people love these
