Order the Schecter Guitar Research C-1 FR SLS Elite Electric Guitar Antique Fade Burst and just received it. The first things I can say is when looking closely at this guitar is, that this is just what I thought it would be, made very well and I'm really blown away with the finish all around the guitar and attention to detail and superb quality too. I do engineering and know what I'm talking about in regards to manufacturing and quality. The action is so smooth and finely tuned making it effortless to play. All of the parts are top notch. Fishman Fluence modern active pickups humbucker with the alnico by the neck and the ceramic by the bridge. Also comes with the nicer Floyd Rose 1500 series bridge, Extra-jumbo Stainless steel frets that will last forever. Really smooth push/pull master volume and tone knobs and a solid feel selector switch. It's a once piece neck bonded onto the body with no bolts attaching the neck. You can play all the way up to the last 24th fret without needing to stretch at all. I've reviewed and compared many other brands of guitars by taking a close look at them all. Checking the hardware that comes with them and how it's put together. There was nothing that competes with the Schecter C-1 SLS Elite guitar in its price range. They also have a limited life time warranty on their guitars too. I highly recommend the Schecter C-1 Elite series guitars because you won't find anything that compares with them. So far really satisfied with the quality.

Soo after a lot of research and time saving. I came to the conclusion that this was the guitar that I wanted to purchase.. capable of shred, or any kind of music you want, the push and pull pots, flames maple, ebony finger board, rose ect. Looked like a dream and with all the hype on Schecter And the price I decided to pull the trigger.. patiently waited for arrival. When I got it, to guitar centers credit it was packaged nice enough, but their were major issues with some of the finishing work of the guitar. The bottom pick ups were protruding out so far they were hitting the strings and not able to get it back in place. The pick-ups are not screwed in too well at all tbh. Their was some lose wires underneath and the holes were striped. The switch didn't feel great one of the switch screws was corroding, the finish on the neck was less to be desirable in some areas.. I have never had this prob with even say a $300 guitar. Anyways the guitar itself is gorgeous. The paint job is amazing light but solid, feels great in hand the rounded frets felt great. So I probably got a lemon and hope to get it solved. But any company that will send a guitar out like that at that price point really loses my business especially with all the options out now. I hate to say it but this would never happen with some of the bigger company, cough cough 'Gibson'. Hopefully I'm shredding soon. P.S. This is not completely guitar centers fault. This seems to be more of an issue with the manufacturing itself. Just want others to be aware so you don't deal with the same thing that I am.

A great guitar. Very versatile, both pickups are the best pickups I've ever played. The feel and look of this guitar are both outstanding for the price. One of the best if not the best Schecter ever made and probably the best guitar for the price!
