Description

The Schecter Banshee Mach series takes excellence to a whole new level. A reimagined Banshee-shaped body, carved from lightweight swamp ash, is beautifully combined with a flamed maple top. The neck-through-body five-ply roasted maple/purple heart neck is incredibly fast and comfortable and features a compound radius, ultra-thin “U” neck shape, glow in the dark side dot markers, two carbon fiber reinforcement rods, ebony fretboard and 24 X Jumbo stainless steel frets.

Raising the bar to incredible heights are the Lundgren M6 passive humbucker pickups. Lundgren pickups are handwound in Sweden and are amongst the highest quality, best-sounding pickups in the world. The M6 pickups are well known for their high output and clarity, using a combination of unique winding and a ceramic magnet placed under the pickup

    I ordered this shipped to store. First one had a misaligned bridge and the pots were both extremely loose (internally) so the knobs wobbled when you touch them. The second one looked like it had been hit on the back side with meat tenderizer and the truss rod wheel was covered in rust. Two out of the three of these guitars I have seen have had actual holes in the fretboard. Might be where the inlay router missed, but it seems common. It's really sad because the design is great. Neck is extremely comfortable and the M6 pickups are really nice. All the hardware is solid. The QC just isn't there, and you do not know what you will get if it has been hanging on a wall in another store. If you can get that one that is actually in good shape it would be a great guitar. I gave up on this guitar after the two i was shipped.
