The only product I regret buying. I came close to returning within the 30 day window but decided against it. My mistake. I purchased in mid March. It is now mid May. It is in the box with the RA number from Samson ready to be shipped back for Warranty repair. The funny thing is the box has a "Passed QC" sticker on it. First I noticed the drum pads double trigger. When I contacted Samson the response was...you guest it. 'hmm, we have never heard of that issue". when I used it to control an Arturia VST the encoder control was very erratic. Values were not smooth. Next up, changing midi channels. The dedicated buttons are nice but... increment goes from channel 1 to channel 5. decrement goes back to channel 1. I found that to get to channel 2 I had to go to channel 7 then work back to 2. To get to 3, I had to go to 8 then back to 3 and so on. The Zone feature. Which was why I liked it in the first place. Each Zone can have setting for key range, Octave, Program change, channel. But, I found if you want to switch Zones 2 and 3 off those keys ranges will NOT play notes anymore. If you want to get the remaining keys back you have to reassign Zone 1 note range again. Editor...no go for MAC. Also, you can't name your presets. Numbers only. Support...No user Forum. I don't know if other users have the same issues I have. After I sent in an email I got a response to "give us a call" I spoke w/ Joe. maybe 5 minutes tops. I told him my issues. He sent me another email for R&D...never heard back. Finally I just applied for an RA #.
