Usable for Street Performing - without the bulk

Started using the system for small outdoor and indoor storytelling street performances. The battery lasts forever! The sound is great, and the volume is all right for the price. It was the only battery-operated portable system they sold, so it was kind of the only option, but that was fine. Haven't had any problems with feedback. Love the carry handle. It's so light and small that it fits in my rolling case along with my other gear (with padding of course), and it all travels well. Overall an excellent purchase!

I'm at that awkward point in leaning (15 months) that I'm jamming with scales and a few other things. Previously I was hooking my laptop or cell phone to my amp with a cord and jamming to U-tube backing tracks. This speaker has plenty of volume to allow me to do that and more. It's easy and super convenient to use with the bluetooth and battery. Not certain why but sometimes when I pause the phone, the bluetooth fails to reconnect. It's easy to fix by just turning the speaker off and back on. To be very very critical, the sound is a bit muddy, but my music teacher says it would be better if not on the floor. The volume range is not going to "rattle windows", but for me is plenty. Now having said that I really like it.

Usb charges only when plugged in. whats the use of having a portable usb charger? But it is decent sound quality.
For the money, this is a great little speaker.

I run my own music school in Tampa, Florida teaching various group piano, drum, and guitar classes, as well as general music. On the whole, I am really impressed with this unit. I linked it to my Ipad which is linked to my Imac and easily accesses all of my music files. It's great for playing the accompaniment tracks for an intro piano class with the keyboard volume at a reasonable level. As for an acoustic guitar class, with 3-5 guitars playing together, it can easily get drowned out and isn't really powerful enough for use in a group class situation. I also attempted it with a drum class and it's certainly not loud enough for that. But for comfortably filling a small to mid-sized room with ambient background music, use in the general music room for listening and instruction, I give this speaker 5 stars. It's also good for use in personal guitar/piano practice.
