Audio reaches the CR99 wireless receiver via the CH99 handheld transmitter, which features Samson's Q8 professional dynamic microphone capsule. Offering eight hours of battery life using two AA batteries (not included), the CH99 transmitter features a variable Gain control, as well as a popless one-touch mute button.

    These units are great. Mine is a workhorse wireless system, as I use it with not only the handheld mic, but at times I'll use it with the body pack, for bass, guitar, headsets...etc. I imagine you could even use it with powered speakers, to turn them wireless if needed. I've never had a drop out with these, whether inside or playing outdoors. I do recommend using rechargeable batteries. So, if you're a professional on a budget, this will last you a career and serve you very well.
