AA METAL-X CUTS THROUGH!

This cymbal can cut through any amount of noise! I play the 18", and it is LOUD, but not muffled. Still very clear, and responsive. I am very proud to own this cymbal, I believe I am in love with it. Goes well with my 24" Paiste 2002 Ride.

Watch out for the flatness

Prior to purchasing this cymbal I already owned the 16" and 18" AA Metal-X cymbals. Thinking that this one would cover that in between tone I purchased the 17". Expecting the same crisp explosion of sound, I was disappointed in how flat the 17" sounded. Wish I could return.

Even though i punched this cymbal because i need an AA Sabian (of any kind). Sabian AA metal-x was the only AA cymbal that was in at the time so I garbed it. I was not expecting much form this but it fit perfectly into my style of music (surprisingly not metal or heavy). It plugged right into the crash ride spot. over all just a wow cymbal

Brooks from KING GIANT here- Sabian has been my longtime favorite cymbal company. I choose the AA series because of the energy they give off in a live setting. I play hard rock and hit quite hard, so naturally Metal-X was the perfect choice to try and I absolutely endorse them for the player who wants cut, volume and durability- I recently cracked my 20" AA Metal-X crash and Guitar Center saved the day by over nighting me a new cymbal for a show the next night- Thanks guys for the extra effort. Check us out at www.kinggiant.com and www.facebook.com/kinggiantband- let me know if you dig it!!! brooks/KG brooks@kinggiant.com

i love this crash, like. . . gah, cant even put it into words, for a metal drummer, its all u could ask for. it has the perfect mix between dark an brilliant tones, and is mad loud, which can b good or bad. I like its volume, but i somtimes find that it over powers my other crash cymbals, but if ur a metal drummer and need a cymbal that can take a beating and still sound great, ud b stupid not to get this :D

i originally got this cymbal to use as a ride crash for heavy riffs and things like that and it worked GREAT that way and i also have 16 inch studio crash as an accent crash but i could help but notice this crash worked great as and accent crash as well and one day while watch some old avenged sevenfold videos i notice the reverend uses this crash as his accent crash so i bought a 19 AAX metal crash and moved this one beside the studio crash i have and use that set up it work PERFECT i love this cymbal u can use for just about anything sabian is a really great brand and metal-x i believe is a mater piece cymbal
