I wish I could give this zero star rating. The kit sounds like you're hit a wet paper bag no matter the turning or adding new heads to it. Just save your money unless you are the biggest twenty one pilot fans. I used multiple SJC kits and this is the worst sounding kit of them all please for the love of God do not buy this kit unless you are a twenty one pilots fan and want to mount it on a wall. Just save your money and buy a pearl kit.

How do I connect the rack tom to the bass drum?

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
To mount your rack tom, you’ll need either a snare stand (most common) or a bass drum clamp + tom arm purchased separately—this shell pack is designed for flexible, pro-style customization. Option 1: Snare-Style Tom Stand (Most Stable & Flexible) Use a snare stand with adjustable basket to hold the 12" tom. Offers flexible placement and avoids drilling into the bass drum. Example: DW 9300, Yamaha SS-850, or Tama Roadpro Option 2: Bass Drum Clamp + Tom Arm (If You Want It Mounted) Use a bass drum hoop clamp with a tom arm (e.g., L-rod or ball-joint type). Example setup: Gibraltar SC-BDPM or SC-GRSRA (hoop-mounted clamp) DW or Tama tom arm with the correct post diameter for the tom bracket (check tom mount size, usually 10.5mm or 12.7mm)
