SABIAN

Description

The Sabian Neil Peart Paragon cymbal set puts together everything Peart uses live.
Includes 2 - 16" crashes, 18" and 20" crashes, 8" and 10" splashes, 22" ride, 19" and 20" Chinas, 13" and 14" hi-hats. Includes ATA-style flight case.
Developed with Neil Peart of Rush, the Paragon series blends 2 styles of lathing for a very balanced cymbal tone. Pinpoint lathing creates a narrower groove for a fast, lively response on the top, while the traditional AA lathing creates a wider groove for a fuller, richer tone on the bottom side.

For those who know how hard it is to buy just one cymbal that sounds great, let alone a complete set, this is it! I own over thirty cymbals, and I was constantly switching out for different styles of music. But these cymbals cover all the bases! They are soniclly matched to each other for a great overall sound! They record well in any style of music, and live, they simply cant be beat!!!

I have personally played theese. They sound amazing, and they last for forever and a day. My Friends Dad has theese cymbals and they are like the greatest but not worth the price.

I just recently bought these cymbals. Yeah, they sound great, look sweet with the distortion of the metal, but it was a bad buy. As soon as I opened it up and set everything up, I decided that it wasn't worth it. I mean you could buy a good drum set and use this money to add on. Its not worth it, seriously. Oh and make sure you return it within 40 days of the purchase.

These are by far the best sounding cymbals on the market..true they are extremely expensive, but price really shouldn't matter to a drummer that knows exactly what he/she is looking for, if your are drumming on a budget, these are not for you, but if you are looking for the absolute best sounding cymbals on the market, isn't worth a few extra bucks to have the best?

I can see the quality of the cymbals -- especially seeing as they were produced with Neil Peart. However, Sabian has other cymbal models that are of the same quality and similar sound for far less price.
