What more could you really want?!!
The cymbal is great and very economic. Its thin sound is great for any type of music you might be interested in. Though for the price some feel obligated to say it's great for beginners I must say this is a great performance cymbal for any drummer who loves to play music. I've had this cymbal for a while now and have done various shows with it and it has never let me down in any possible way. The cymbal's great, period.

Decent...
This cymbal is good if you need to add some sound to your set, but if you can, you might want to spend a little more money and get something with a better sound. It doesn't really sound all that good with my kit, even though I have all Sabian B8 cymbals, and for a thin cymbal it has an incredibly long and loud decay. So if you really need something soon, this works because it is nice and cheap, but in the long run, you won't be satisfied...

B8 is solely for the beginner

A great beginner crash. The thin crashes are at the right price. I own 14", 16", and 18" crashes. In my opinion Sabian is not consistant with building/manufacturing some of their cymbals to sound and look relatively the same with each size. Some of the cymbals in the B8 series sometimes have too bright over tone that gets annoying. These cymbals are great for not bitting into your pocket.
B8s are the very best for begginers.

B8 Thin crashes are definitely durable. Has a nice brilliant shine to the cymbal itself and has a bright tone. I've had the 14" B8 for at least 2 years and it has not failed me since. A great buy for mainly begginers who had just got their first drumkit (this is just my opinion).
Pretty good.

This is a pretty good cymbal overall. If you are a really good and HARD drummer like me, or you have enough money, don't get it. It is thin. therefore because it is thin it wobbles around when you hit it and really wobbles around when you wash with it. And because it wobbles, it doesn't have the best sound, and it isn't that loud, not to mention it loses it's volume and performance after a couple of hits.(It doesn't lose it's performance permenantely)I give it a 4 stars because it is good for a beginner or intermediate, but not for the price.

Great cymbal for a great price!!! The sound is somthing you don't expect.. That is y I like it.. it has a sound of a bell at the end of a hit tho witch kind of bothers me but I got used to it pretty fast.. I've been drumming for 10 years and I would know what a good cymbal sounds like and this is it! The sound is good and it is alot better than most of the crash cymbals I've ever had! If u want a great cymbal for a great price this is. for u!

if i had to describe this cymbal in one word it would be wow. I saw a used one of these at my local music store and I always wondered how sabian cymbals are because i play zildjians most of the time. I needed a new crash and this one was half off so i said why not. I went home and tried it out. WOW i was blown away this cymbal sounds so good mixed with my other cymbals and just by itself such a great buy and tons of sound from a cymbal that is from a lower series. The thin type of this cymbal really makes it sound loud and alive. It sounds a little darker than my other cymbals which are zildjian zhts but i love it i'm soo glad i got this!
