I bought these electric drums in november of 2006, and Roland has done their homework. The TD 20'S are the best electronic drums out their on the market.I have tried Simmons, Alexis,Yamaha, you name it.You can record, play live, and also use these drums to do about any,and every type of styl, sound, and feel. The TD 20'S has a real acoustic drum sound and while playing them, the feel is like plying acoustic drums.I have tried them all,but now I have the best. P.S. - The price of these drums are well worth it.Remember,YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!

ive been a drummer for about 3and a half years now and ive owned one electronic kit and one acustic, my electronic was just a cheep alesis from target, and it works, but i have to say, this kit, which ive played at gc, is SWEET, but you can get an equally as good kit for a couple thousand dollars less, like a simmons sd9k, sure it only has rubber pads but thats a NICE kit, so if ur loooking for just an electronic kit as an extra practice, this isnt recomended by me

Oh my gosh, this drum set is so awesome. My church has a smaller sanctuary where an acoustic drum-set doesn't work well, so we've been using an older Roland td-10. The brain on it was seeing its last days, and the cymbals were just rubber heads, so we were breaking them, and it hurts. GC gave us an awesome deal on these, and we used them for the first time tonight at our youth service. These drums sound like real drums, simply like real drums. We play very rock and dramatic worship music (it's awesome), so a drum set would need some versatility and durability. This electric set met its hype tonight. It is also very editable and expandible. There are a lot of ways to make a bunch of real sounding drum sets. Of course you can make all of the cool sounds and hip-hop beats. This module is very clear, so all that stuff sounds good.
Amazing Set

I recently purchased this set and it has been the best electronic set I have ever used. The pads have a great feel to them and the sensors on the cymbals are all over them, unlike sets like the ion, where you can only strike 1/3 of the cymbal. I definitely recommend this set for all serious drummers who are into electronic sets. It is a large investment for most, but I definitely believe it is worth every dollar.
Amazing!

Perfection at it's utter most perfection! Extremely durable, so much ways to experiment, sounds extremely realistic, can take a beating, and is worth the price!
