Best kick drum upgrade!!!!

I wanted to upgrade the kick pad on my TD-25, which comes with the KD-9 pad, my only complaint is that I didn't do it sooner, I slapped a drum-tec real feel mesh head on it, and oh my god!!! So fun to play!!!!! It's so much more stable than the kd-9, best upgrade yet!!!

I was really excited when I ordered this pad and then it finally showed up. I was very surprised with how well made this is. It has weight and is sturdy as a rock when placed. The wide mounting platform allows for easy centering for any pedals you have. And the best part is it is BIG and the pad is completely tension tunable to what ever rebound you prefer. The sound when striking is very quite even with wooden round kickers making playing to speakers much better not hearing your own clunk. It's very very natural feeling. A must have now that I know.

Although the KD-120 is a bit on the pricey side, it is well worth the money, especially when upgrading from the KD-8 or other rubber kick triggers that come with e-drums. I personally have a Roland TD9 and it came with the 8inch rubber kick trigger which was good for awhile, but ive had it for over a year now and it was beginning to wear. The KD-120 is insanely responsive and the ability to tune the head is a great advantage. My kicks became so much faster and it felt much more like playing an acoustic set. One word of caution: this thing is big. I thought it was going to be smaller, but with a bit of moving things around, I got it all set up perfectly. I highly suggest this product.
