With its heavy-duty design and flawless chrome plating, the DCS-30 combination stand perfectly complements the looks and performance of Roland’s high-end V-Drums sets. This premium stand works with V-cymbals and V-pads and features double-braced legs and large-diameter tubing for maximum stability. The telescopic boom arm with geared tilter provides ultra-precise cymbal positioning, and you can easily adjust the L-rod tom mount without affecting the overall stand height. It’s also possible to stow the boom arm in the top downtube for fast conversion to a straight cymbal stand if needed.

  • Solid Stand but...Design of Cymbal Boom Is Questionable

Recently acquired a Roland V Drum kit with two of these stands. While its got a good feel and rather solid, the one main disappointing feature of this stand unlike 70's/80s as an example good old fashion Tama boom stands is the angle of the tilt cannot go flush with the stand. Thus you are limited to the angle of the tilt of the boom. Some percussionists don't like cymbals in our face, the stand doesn't allow the drummer to tilt the cymbal portion upward enough to clear it away from the adjacent tom. Since you don't have the freedom off a lone cymbal stand, you're relegated to moving the tom and cymbal together. If only Roland had made the angle of the boom more adjustable I would have rated this a 5 star. To get around this issue, I had to reverse the boom portion. Design is questionable.
