Gauge .017, Plain Steel - Acoustic or Electric

These are the same guitar strings Rogue uses in prepackaged retail sets. What's the difference? We package 12 strings of the same gauge in airtight vinyl bags with a packet of silica gel to protect against unwanted moisture, so they last longer than typical string sets. We also pack these bulk strings in big, loose coils to avoid compressing or stretching the windings, so they sound better than tightly coiled strings. Rogue Strings are made for us exclusively by a famous manufacturer, employing the finest materials and the latest manufacturing methods.

    These strings are my backup for pedal steel guitar. I change strings and between times replace the one's most used with pedals and levers. 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, are the commonly replaced groups. The winding for the ball end can be a little ratty but they hold up well and sound good. I carry a spare set of SIT steel guitar strings and the Rogue singles as spares. Decent life and I'm happy with the price.
