Odd Dimensions

For my resonator acoustic bass, this was the only gig bag I could find that accommodated its smaller than usual body and short-scale neck, but though the body width and length and neck length dimensions are small, the depth is HUGE! It's not listed in the item description, and at 8", I'm not actually sure what sort of instrument this bag was made for. I don't own any instruments that would come close to fitting snugly in this deep of a gig bag, but at less than 5" deep, my acoustic bass really bounces around in there. I may have to find some way to modify the bag, but at that price, at least I can consider doing that. The materials, construction and padding are what you would expect from a sub-$30 gig bag. Not sure why some reviews are saying there is no padding, but the one I received, at least, is fully padded.
I got 3 cases. all 3 are better than i expected.

If I'd known that it had no padding, I would not have purchased it.
Not Great, but Okay for the Price

This bag is very thin and has virtually no padding, and that is especially noticeable around the headstock. It will protect against scratching and provide a handle for carrying, but that's about it. But since the price is so low and I only need it for light use, it was still a good deal.
