Just ok as a case. ABS is just plastic. And this plastic is not very strong. Also it is just too small.

  • Buyer beware Road Runner makes two cases like this.

Road Runner makes two cases like this that look alike from the outside. I bought one in another city and had it shipped to my home. They sent me the wrong one. No problem, I really like this case. I just used it for another guitar I had instead of taking it back to the store. It's hard to find a case for a Stratocaster that isn't a large square case but the Road Runner double cutaway case fit my Mexican Strat and was much easier to carry around than those big cases. Make sure you try your particular guitar in the exact case you're buying. This case is good quality, well made and well padded. The hardware looks great. I've been buying off of Guitar Center for the last few years and they've always treated me fairly.

  • Decent outside protection, very subpar interior cushioning

Decent case. Nothing to write home about, but pretty good bang for the buck. The size of the accessory compartment is excellent, and the interior lining is soft. My main problem with it is that the lid doesn't have any cushioning or padding where it meets the body when you close the lid. Because there isn't any, my Gibson SG bangs around inside of the case when I move it. It's a good case for storing the guitar at home, but I'd never gig with it. I wish that I had gotten a different case altogether.

  • Very nice case

I recently purchased a Gibson 60's SG Junior. The gig bag that came with it would really only protect it from dust. I usually hang my guitar on a wall hanger, but needed a decent case for the occasional trip over to a buddy's house to jam. This case it perfect for that. Even for gigging. Don't think I'd throw it in baggage on a plane, but that's not I bought it for. Perfect for my needs.

  • Not completely satisfied.

I needed a hard case for my Gibson SG 60's Tribute because it only came with a gig bag. I bought this one because it was the only one they had in store. It doesn't completely support the guitar. I had to put in 2 pieces of styrofoam on the sides of my guitar to keep it from bouncing around because all the weight ended up on the headstock/tuner area. This might be because of the guitar so I don't want to blame the case. I should have been more careful. The styromfoam I put in keeps it from moving so it's not a big problem but it would be better if I didn't have to do that.
