Heavily Padded Bag...

A great, very well padded, and not just soft, but a good dense foam layer against the outer shell. It also has high quality zippers, adequate storage/pockets. The only flaws, which is the case with most bags, is no neck or headstock support. That's why I rolled up a towel, even stitched it to stay the shape I want it ... then stitched it into the bag to keep it where it should be. Also, because unlike someone else's review stated, IT'S A BAG, NOT A CASE... so your instrument can still take the brunt of a door shutting on it, or even leaning it up against something. For that reason I slit the back top open just enough to slide a graphite golf club shaft down almost the entire length of the bag, which keeps the bag rigid. It still won't take a car or bar door shutting on it, but it's a step closer to a case. I got mine on sale for about 1/2 the full price and I don't think you could find any new bag as nice for anywhere near the price. Even at full price, it's a great bag.

Measurement are off

Bought this for my Jack Casady Bass, says it's 20" inches wide. It is not, it's more like 14" definitely would not recommend for a wider body bass.

I use this gig bag to carry my Squire Sonic Precision bass in. I got it on sale at the Guitar Center in Dallas, TX. I got it to carry my bass around in. It's light and easy to carry like a backpack. The outside pockets make it easy to carry whatever I need in for my bass lesson.

  • I would buy this again

Stopped in for a gig bag for a jazz bass. This one looked good so I brought it home. It is light weight but still hefty enough to protect your bass if you are going back and forth to rehearsal or a short hop to a gig. Definitely not a case but just the bag for around town Has great storage

  • Great gig bag.Solidly built.
