Bought this before and will buy again

I first bought the acoustic guitar version of this gig bag when I got a hollow body electric a couple years ago. It has not failed me, and I decided to get this for my bass before my previous gig bag completely gave out. This thing feels very sturdy and I really like the storage. I do plan to buy another for my acoustic guitar, as well. I'd buy one for my ʻukulele if there was one!

It works

Bag seems fine. It's good enough for what I was looking for at the time; the cheapest thing I could find to but my bass in a bag to offer it some protection. Materials feel kind of cheap for how expensive it is, but it works.

I appreciate the padding in the headstock/neck area, and the two pockets. Has backpack style straps and a suitcase-type handle. Great for local travel but definitely wouldn't check it in at an airport!

  • Yes, I would buy this product again.

The EB-3 has a slightly shorter overall length and a more compact SG-style body compared to typical Fender-style basses. The Road Runner RR3EB bag is designed for standard-size basses like the Jazz or Precision, so your EB-3 will definitely fit—but there will be a bit of extra space inside. It won’t be an ultra-snug fit, but the padding and internal straps will still offer decent protection. It’s a solid option—just keep in mind it’ll be a little roomy.
