Jetstream 390 vs Strat

Compare two 3 single coil pickup guitars and there's bound to be some similarities. I've got a '94 USA Strat. I'm not quite sure how to characterize the difference between the two but I'm keeping the 390. A little more chime, a little more growl ? Nice satin back neck. Mine's black. Might change out the pickguard to a tortoise. The price is so reasonable it was hard not to rationalize yet another guitar. Looks like a formal tuxedo with a roasted neck.
Really great guitar

I played one at guitar center, was very surprised, the tones I got were versatile, strat sound plus a Gibson if you want. The roll off bass knob and tone knobs were great ,high quality feel. Loved the surf greenish color with white accent around edge. Plus locking tuners. The shape didn't grab me at first ,but after playing ,I said yes this is a monster. IV played for 50 yrs plus 6, I'm getting one as soon as possible. I highly recommend trying one out.

Forgot to mention the awesome locking tuners that turn string changes into a breeze instead of a pain. They are fantastic and the perfect touch for such an outstanding guitar!
One if not the best guitar you'll ever buy

This is one if not the finest guitars I have ever owned. I have a couple of America Teles. A performers and a proffesional and a couple of Les Pauls this guitar can hold it's own with anything. The versatility is Amazing and the sounds are Fantastic. I have the black one one that is several years old and it is still my go to guitar, gives the Teles a run for the money (but doesn't replace them. Easy to play with a great neck and the 3 Pickups give it tremendous versatility and it is easy to fall in love with. Been playing about 20 years and played about everything I could get my hands on and this guitar can hold it's own with ANY guitar. Wouldn't trade it or sell it for anything. If you get a chance to pick one up used. The price has doubled since I got mine years ago when Reverend was just starting out, don't hesitate, GRAB IT !! You will not be sorry and it will give you an incredible instrument for anyones arsenal. In short. I LOVE IT!!
I love this guitar!

Played great out of the box. I already have an LP style dual humbucker and Jaguar style with 3 single coils. Never had a guitar with P90's and as of now this my new favorite out of every guitar that I have played. The amount of tonal options you get with the 5 way selector and bass control knob is awesome. With the switch in positions 2 and 4 the P90's cancel eachother out to get a humbucker sound if you want. The roasted maple neck feels high end and the hardware work great and stay in tune well even after excessive tremlo use.The guitar in my opinion just looks and feels special.
This guitar has the tone of a gibson and the feel of a strat

I have not bought one (sadly out of my price range) however i played it in a guitar center and the sound that it produces is superb. I have also never had a guitar in my hand where when I use the whammy bar it STAYS IN TUNE. It is insane when it comes to dive bombs as i can keep playing the solo without taking a rest to tune. I just love this guitar even if i can't buy it
