Great beginner or spare

I actually picked up this amp for my girlfriend who is making the switch from acoustic to electric guitar as a practice-around-the-house amp. I had never heard of them before but it looked solid and was much larger then most in this price range. It has a surprisingly big tone, good lead channel, and the built in tuner is a big plus for someone starting out or who just doesn't want to switch to their tuner. I would like to see the effects controls done a little better in the future, but the fact that they're even on the amp is a big plus. Good job!

ok(ish)

this amp has a TON of bass but if you turn it down it just sounds bad. its an ok(ish) beginners amp but if you know anything about playing guitar and how its supposed to sound, save your money and get something better like a line 6 or a marshall. i can get somewhat of a good sound out of it when i plug it up to my boss ds-1 distortion pedal but it still doesnt sound great. oh and the tuner sux just get a chromatic turner for like 20 bucks.

I have had these amps for about 3 years now. I bought one for my self, one for the church for anyone to use. Every body marvels at how clear the sound is and the light weight to move it from church to fellowship hall for special occasions. While they have both been used a tremendous amount and moved a lot. We have not had one problem. Everyone that has used it has loved it for the tone and clarity. Although you can make it sound horrible if set the controls that way. But it will never be used that way at all. The built in tuner is an add plus tha works great. If I ever need a new amp? It will be a Raven. I don't think anyone can make a better amp. Luther P.S. When my friend heard it he also bought two one for his home and one for his recording studio.

Honestly. I wasn't quite ready to expect much out of an amp that was cheaper. But looking for a cheap step up from a starter's set up, this baby fits right in. Hey, it may still be a solid state, not quite the beautiful tube amp that shines in every guitarist's dreams, but this baby sounds good. I love it. You can get a vast range of tone, growl, and weep. Make your guitar moan, scream, or just flat out yell, this amp works. And with built in delay and reverb, can't get much better for the price. I say if you want a good quality amp at a great price. Take it.

ive had this amp for almost a year now...this thing just blew me away. i compared this amp to my friends 50watt amp and clearly this one sounded louder and better...highly recommend it to any level guitar player its easy to use and the sound is amazing u can go from clean to freaking hardcore death metal (if u know how to)... ive been playing for 2 yrs and this amp just made me a better guitar player cause of the diversity this amp has...considering the price of this amp its amazing 100 bucks plus tax its well worth it...only problem that people have with this is the weight...it only weighs 25 pounds suck it up its worth carrying it and this thing is durable plus it looks amazing...my friends see and hear this and they just look at how awsome this amp sounds they practically want one for themselves...RAVEN is just amazing

I got this amp on black friday with a 15% off coupon and i did not expect it to preform as good as it did. It rivals a fender Frontman65 at only 20 watts. its tunder was a bit slow but it works, and its reverb is really not good but There is a pedal for that. And Its distortion is GREAT. its creamy and organic like my Boss FBM-1. Its awesome
