a good practice amp

I bought the Crate XT10 10W Guitar Combo Amp a couple months ago and i think it was overall pretty good for the price. Since its only 10 watts you get some feedback in the background. The features are ok, it comes with clean, gain, an eq and reverb controls. overall, this is a good practice amp, perfect for just sitting at home and messing around with it. i woudlnt and havent depended on it for anything big though.

Good For a Beginners Amp But Dont Expect Much

I was searching for practice amps online and came across this, i purchased it after reading everything about it, when i first started playing on it i was suprised with how the distortion compared to a boss distortion pedal, almost identical tone and fuzz, but what brings the amp down is the fact that u can never get it perfectly clean, it tends to have a small reverb undertone even after the reverb is turned all the way down, and also with the gain, now this is not a problem if your into high gain and crunch, but if you like to play clean and play alot of open chords and barre chords, then id sugguest a different amp, perhaps a vox.

Wow, this amp is great for the price. The thing that amazed me though was how loud it was for such a tiny thing. This product is great. The only thing about this amp that I don't like is the distortion. It is very pitchy and doesn't sound to well compared to the other amps I have used.

this amp is awful. i guess it wouldn't be so bad if you liked a clean tone. it has a clean and a solo channel. if you turn up the gain and volume on the solo channel all the way, it gets a little dirty, but not too much. it dosen't get too loud either. so that will mke your mom happy. it is pretty cheap, but for a reason.

I got this amp as my first one, and it really gets loud for 10 watts! I can play it along with the drumset I have (my brother on the drums. The distortion is good, but I normally use a Digitech RP200A Multi-Effect pedal. I use it with a Yamaha Pacifica (strat type) guitar (with humbuckers). I really can't believe how much I've gotten out of this lightweight, 10 watt amp. The Crate XT10 10W Guitar Combo Amp is a great amp if you want to practice, and works well for live performances, but if you really want an amp for a live show, you might want to get a higher watt amp (like a 35-60 Watt crate) or a Marshall stack.

i have played this amp at the local guitar center, it is a pretty decent amp for the price. The distortion is actually decent for a 10 watt amp. I think I would recommend this to the beginner guitarist or just anyone looking for a good amp that does'nt cost that much.

I own a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe that I use for gigs, but I am a college student living in a dorm and my room mates would kill me if i played on that monster amp all the time. So i got this amp to use in the dorm as a practice amp. The overdrive sounds pretty good, as does the clean channel. It would be even better if it had reverb, but all in all it's a great little amp. I use it every day.

I have had this amp for a year now. This is a good playing-in-your-room amp. It has an OK tone to it. It has a boost knob and a gain knob. This is amp is pretty good for its price. (YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR)
