Listensing to the heads after recording a couple of tunes, I definitely like the recorded sound of my new Remo pinstripes. There is a significant difference in the sound versus the Evans U2 heads that I had on my 12" 14" and especially on my 16" Ludwig Classic Maple drums. The 16" was incredibly deep in pitch and did not sound distorted on my recordings - the Evans 16" head was audibly distorted on record playback. Remarkable difference.
i will buy these again

honestly I have tried other brands but I have always stuck with Remo. You cant go wrong, they have a nice crisp clean sound to them. I bought a DW set which came with these and the sound simply amazed me so I decided to stay with REMO
Remo Is Easiest To Tune!

While there may be different opinions on who sounds the best (subjective). No one can question how easy and accurate these heads tune up! Mileage may vary on them but hey I don't need to hit them so hard either! They hold up pretty well but after using other brands these are BY FAR the easiest to get going. A good thing to remember if you have a gig in a half an hour!
