The Series 11 000

Recording King

collapse expand iconDescription

Series 11 guitars from Recording King are all-solid, no-compromise instruments with classic vintage styling and an affordable price tag. Recording King's Series 11 models offer players all-solid tonewoods in a great-looking vintage-style package. The Series 11's extra-lightweight 000 gives players a high-quality, affordable guitar with no compromise in tone or vibe.

The foundation of the Recording King Series 11 sound comes from a solid spruce top paired with solid mahogany back and sides. These traditional all-solid tonewoods deliver the fundamentals of acoustic tone at first strum, for a classic sound that will only continue to deepen over years of playing.

For authentic vintage styling, the Series 11 000 is finished in Tobacco Sunburst with an ultra-thin satin finish. Classy low-key MOP dots map the fretboard, and the vintage Recording King headstock design delivers classic 3-on-a-side vintage mojo.

Each Series 11 model comes from Recording King's workshop with great-sounding Fishman Sonitone electronics for guitars that are roadworthy as well as sonically and stylistically impressive.

I purchased this guitar after months of research and reviews, I was not prepared for the instrument that showed up at my doorstep. I have been playing for forty years and have owned some very pricey acoustic guitars, this guitar is amazing in all aspects. I can't find anything to complain about, from build, finish, tone and playability. I have been playing it for two months and it sounds better every time I pick it up. If you have any reservations about this guitar, I would lay them to rest. It's a fine instrument.

For the money, you can't beat this guitar. I am going to shim the saddle to raise the action a bit because no matter how I tweak the neck, I am still getting buzzes. I think once this is done, it should play great. The pickup sounds great too. I may wind up replacing the tuning machines, we'll see. I've only had it for 2 weeks.

Very good guitar for the money. It's so light that it almost feels like a cheap laminate, but I'm getting more used to the feel. Very easy to play, with a nice tone.

Are you kidding me! Try this guitar, you won't find this quality in an all solid wood guitar at this price anywhere. With the price match guarantee it cost me less than a Little Martin, and it has a Fishman Sonitone pickup! I like the wider nut 1 3/4" more room and it's bone nut/bridge not plastic. This guitar has it's own sound and it's beautiful as is the understated tobacco sunburst with an ultra-thin satin finish. If you've lost your guitar Mojo definitely check this out... It's the perfect guitar for tough times, cheap, solid and great sounding, without having to take out a second mortgage.
