Raven

Description

The Raven RG100H and RG412 combine to create a heavy-duty half stack that features a variety of tones and effects. This Raven half stack offers versatility and volume at an affordable price.

RG100H Amp Head:

The Raven RG100H is a guitar amp head that delivers an impressive 100W RMS as a half stack and features a wide variety of great tones. Also, the RG100H features "tonal recall" effect switching which automatically recalls your stored effect when you switch channels. The 16 Digital Effects are assignable quickly and easily to each of the 2 channels, providing just the right amount of ambience to your performance.

Additional features of the Raven RG100H amp include a parallel effect loop send and return for use with a pedal board or other effects. You can even use the effect send as a line out. The Raven RG100 amp head is a perfect companion for the Raven RG412 speaker enclosure. This half stack delivers significantly more volume than other half stacks at the same price, because the RG100 delivers full output power even when driving just one Raven RG412 speaker enclosure.

RG412 Speaker Cab:

The Raven RG412 is a monophonic guitar speaker cab rated at 260W RMS. The RG412 speaker cabinet easily handles the most powerful amp heads on the market. The four 12" speakers are specially designed with large mass magnets and high-efficiency motor structures, coupled with a traditional cone design. The result is a very efficient, high power-handling speaker cabinet that delivers more sound with an extremely musical distortion characteristic.

The Raven RG412 speaker cab includes a heavy-duty steel grille, caster sockets, and large side handles for easy transport. This 4 ohm cabinet is designed to be the perfect companion for the Raven RG100H amp head. Check them out and hear how they stack up to anything else on the market. The Raven half stack rocks.

Ravan 1/2 stack

Ya so i bought this amp about 3 weeks ago and it is sweet. Since this is a 100 watt amp and the cab can take 260 you can turn the volume all the way up and it sounds amazing. Also when you need to upgrade just buy a new head the cab can handle it trust me. I am in a band that travels a lot and it can take the beating the wheels pull out easily and makes it easy to put in a shelf not that you would need to its loud enough!!! It easily keeps up with my friends line six head!!

Good but not great.

I got this amp not to long ago and was impressed by the how heavy the bass is. When you are palm muting those lower notes the building you are in shakes and it really gets you pumped. I was dissapointed on its performance is for long practices with the band or even short 30 minute jam sessions. When its cranked up at higher volumes for long periods of time it heats up and drops out. Also the effects dont really meet the standards of different effect pedals that are out there, but thats the great thing abou this amp. The clean channel is almost perfection. It is also perfect for pedals. In all this is a pretty good practice amp if your on a budget, but if you have the money for other amps go into the store and test out all the amps you can afford.

i got this amp 2 years ago along with an eppi sg for my birthday. it sounds amazing. me and my brother play all the time him on drums me on guitar and it easily over powers the drums. the only cons are is im on my third head and its only left my house once for a talent show this year. they just keep blowing up and over heating and shorting out. and the tuner is ok but not perfect. i switch tunings alot on my 7 guitars so i have trouble with it. i just use a diff tuner. other then that this amp is a steel. it sounds better then my dads bands one line 6. its really worth it tho

This was the first half-stack I ever bought and I was really impressed with how well it performed, considering how inexpensive it was. The rhythm channel sounds great and the lead channel delivers great tones for everything from the most soulful of blues to the heaviest of thrash. I only have two complaints about it: for one, the lead channel can sound like a static ridden mess if you don't have it at the perfect level for the genre you're playing. Second, I was hoping to turn it into a full-stack one day, but apparently it only has an input for a single cab. Despite these minor flaws, however, I was very happy with this amp and I encourage anyone who is not too familiar with stacks to start with this one.

This is the best sounding solid state amp I have ever played hands down! I bought this bad boy two years ago When I first started giging and I must say, I still am often times am taken back by the savage nature and versatility of this amp. It replicates the driving midrangey attack of a 6506, but a little bit more saturated. Although it does not neccisarilly play like a tube amp or have the power of one, I wouldnt exactly say it's in the same ball park as most other digital amps either, (especially ones in it's own price range.) All in all to my knowledge this is the most bang for your buck when in the $600 dollar price range. Don't mess with line6 or marshall, youll be sorely dissapointed.

alright so i got this half stack last year in march and at first i was really stoked cuz it was my first half stack i was playing in a band and all that so i played it for a while at guitar center so any buy the amp its good for a few months then the volume starts going up and down on its own the gain wasnt as powerful as it was when it was first bought and it sounded horrible back then i didnt know anything about tones and know that ive played many other amps ive come to notice this is more of a stay at home begginers half stack i did play it at live but never again as the tuner seems to be kinda off the channels sometime wont even give out a sound even when you crank it up my friend bang it once and it started working idk if i happened to get the messed up amp or if anyone else is also having the same problems i will rate this a 3

Just brought this beast home earlier today, my first half stack, and I got to say this is one solid amp. LOTS of power, I barly cranked it and had my parents ready to scream. Very heavy duty, I would not be afraid to take this on the road with no worrys, steel mesh plate on the front to protect the speakers, and the built in effects are neat to play around with. About the only bad thing I found is that the tuner is a bit iffy, it don't like to pickup what your playing well.

  • A steal for the price!!
