    This amp can do it all!!! At first I was kind of skeptical in getting it do to some online forums stating that the amp sounded weak or had no oomf! But man were they wrong or maybe just user error on their part because its anything but weak. This thing can chugs for days with more gain on tap than needed. And if anything a great alternative to the Randall Satan(since it been discontinued),though I played the 120 version of that amp in my opinion this amp sounds very close to that amp. Ive also played and owned an EVH 5150 III 6l6 version, PRS Archon 50, Peavey 6505, and a Mesa Tri. Rec., and I can honestly say this amp has its own voice, very modern and better sounding in my opinion, again thats my opinion. A nice punchy, tight, and saturated tone great for lead and rhythm. But it also has a really nice clean channel very usable where you can get anything from country to clean spacey alternative sounds with a good set of pedals. The only negative I have point out is that there a definite volume jump form the clean to lead channel but its expected and wish the clean had its own master volume. With all that said this amp is priced fairly well for what you get and for whats out there for metal. If your in the market for great modern metal amp definitely consider the Randall Thrasher it can defiantly hang with the best.

    I can't say enough of how awesome this sounds. the previous review is not applicable since there is no combo. It's hooked into a 1x12 speaker, and I can dial any tone I want. Fortin is a genius putting separate high and low frequency knobs, and with the boost option, my tubescreamers are no longer needed. Indeed a tone chasers amp
