These are the coolest things I have ever heard on top of a drum head. I have to say that it is actually ridicules. It is amazing how much they dampen the tone of any drum. Even the best drum tunners could use these for help. I am a live audio engineer and everytime I see people with these it makes my life easier, I don't have to fight with the ringing of the drum heads. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!!

Poor Adhesion to Drum Head

Bought three packs of the Moongels to use on a large set of Pearl Masters. The product does not stick well and in the middle of the first set the darn things were coming loose and bouncing around the toms. During the break we replaced them with bubble wrap and strips of duct tape to get through the next set. A much better product is Gibralter's Drum Tuning Pads. Moongel does the trick for removing drum overtones. I have tried other brands and types but this is the one I always go back to. It's straightforward and easy to use. You can cut them down if needed but I rarely need to do that. I always keep a spare 6 pack in my stick bag. They come in handy especially when I'm using other drums.

Been using Moongels for decades, nothing beats them for quick tuning at a gig, taking out an annoying ring or providing a fatter tom sound. The only criticism I have is that they get smashed or lost when I pack my kit with them still attached (tho I'm not sure how that can be avoided, these are far superior to the kind that sticks permanently). #sweepstakes

Definitely mellows out the droning of the heads. Can use a single gel pad or multiple depending on your desired sound. Works great with new heads as well as older ones.

How long are these back ordered for? Why can't you get any of these (blue or clear) in the store? Is there some kind of world wide shortage? Once you apply them, can they be removed and reused?

They can be moved around. The ETA is mid August. They are currently available in most of our stores. Where do you need them to be?
