The RCF SUB 18-AX is a high-power 18" active subwoofer designed for professional live sound reinforcement. With a state-of-the-art transducer paired to a potent 2,200W Class-D amplifier, it delivers massive low-end extension down to 35Hz at sound pressure levels up to 135dB. Onboard DSP provides flexible signal control with adjustable crossovers, 8-band EQ, delay and cardioid configurations. Store your favorite settings as recallable presets using the easy-to-navigate color touch display or free iOS/Android app.

The specially optimized 18" woofer features a lightweight yet rigid cone and powerful magnet assembly for tight, controlled bass response even at the highest drive levels. An advanced cooling system with airflow vents keeps the woofer performing optimally, allowing you to push the SUB 18-AX to its limits without distortion or power compression. The built-in 2,200W Class-D amplifier delivers transient-accurate power with plenty of headroom for any live application.

The SUB 18-AX features a rugged polyurea-coated plywood enclosure and durable powder-coated steel grille to withstand the rigors of transport and use. All controls and connections are safely housed behind a protective end panel. The powerCON TRUE1 input provides a secure power connection and integrated circuit protection.     I purchased 2 of the RCF 18 AX Subs to pair with 2 RCF NX932 speakers , Initially I paired the NX 932 speakers with 2 QSC KW181 Sub, A good subwoofer but at higher output levels they could not keep up with the NX 932 speakers.. The 18 AX sub is the perfect match for NX 932 speakers . This 18 inch sub feels up a space , The sound is thunderous not a thud, if you need more low end they don't disappoint. The 8 band parametric eq was brilliant, because you can dial in your crossover frequency more or less this feature really enhances your sub output. Solid wood birch construction tour grade, if your looking for a lightweight sub made out of particle board this sub is not for you.
