Nice product. Very reliable

Comments about Quik-Lok Three Tier Heavy Duty X Keyboard Stand:

Bought this product as the stand, then added the tiers to it later. Pretty durable and light. The top tier is a little wobbly for the bigger keys, but works great for 88 style keys and modecs. I like the portability of the stand. Its very easy to setup and breakdown. Also works great for mixers as well.

The worst stand I've ever owned.

By Samuel Lasky

from Albany, New York

Comments about Quik-Lok Three Tier Heavy Duty X Keyboard Stand:

Though this stand is completely stable, it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE TO ADJUST and fold for a gig without help from a friend, and even then it's not easy. Once you've finally managed to get it set up, you'll quickly notice the fact that the tiers are COMPLETELY UNEVEN right out of the box. And as far as adjusting the width of the tiers, it's doable, but at the complete expense of the height. I would recommend you spend a little extra on a different stand.

Comments about Quik-Lok Three Tier Heavy Duty X Keyboard Stand:

I GOT MINE TO WORK!! Yes, as you can see in other reviews, adjusting these things can be problematic. You can see why -- the X part has seven positions, so the upper tiers have to cope with seven different base positions. In my case, the X part is one position lower than middle. At first I couldn't get the third tier straight. But a week went by and I tried it again -- VOILA!! I do see that one arm isn't straight up -- it's probably one tooth off from being plumb -- so maybe that's what made it work. I'll attach a photo for proof, you can clearly see all four upper holders are firmly holding up their Yamaha keyboards with no funny angles

Comments about Quik-Lok Three Tier Heavy Duty X Keyboard Stand:

Fairly solid. Anything three levels high is going to be top-heavy. So it isn't what I'd call bomb-proof but it's certainly more than equal to home use. A fully-weighted 88-key on the bottom plus a couple synths on the other tiers, and it's holding up fine.

My only grip is the uneven tiers -- I put a piece of 1/4" board under one side on the third level, which makes it more even but less stable. Hm, stable or even is not really the choice I want to make with a thousand-dollar synth. Considering there's already a flimsier model for 2/3 the price, I don't see the market for one that's 50% more with uneven tiers.

Otherwise it does exactly what I want it to do, and is less complicated than any other model I've tried.

Comments about Quik-Lok Three Tier Heavy Duty X Keyboard Stand:

Sometimes the height will affect how straight each side matches a bit even if a slight difference it will be flat for the keyboards.
