product has short comings-heavy awkward unit in the closed position, does what its suppose to do, but not worth the $$, maybe for 99 bucks. Also very disappointed in GC with an arrived broken/dented in double box, the plastic pieces break easily. bringing this back
Quality keyboard stand. Well made. Quick and easy set up.

It's always a challenge to find space for all your gear. This stand takes up virtually no space when its folded up. I'm tall, and it's the only stand I could find that's made for tall people. Also, it doesn't bust my knees like my X stand does.
sturdy, keyboard area not flat; height adjustment a hassle

Pro: sturdy, and good once set up. Neutral: depending on your keyboard, may have extra rail space left on the back. good for me - ideal to keep some cables, etc, but may be a problem depending on your keyboard cover, or the ergonomics of the surrounding space. Cons: - keyboard alignment is a problem with less deep keyboards, such as P-115. the keyboard is to rest on 3 pairs of small round rubber feet, instead of flat rails with foam strips, so easy to shift out of flat alignment. - if you need frequent set up, height adjustment may be annoying - but the stand is wide enough so allow misalignment while moving up and down, so def not as breezy to set up as the marketing video may suggest.
Perfect for me

I have an older Quik-Lok Z-Stand in my home studio. But it is cumbersome to set up. I wanted a similar stand that I could set up in under a minute. This thing takes about 30 seconds to unfold. It is very sturdy for players with a heavy touch. And I highly recommend going to Quik-Lok's web site to see all the accessories they have for this stand. I bought a mic boom that slides right into the side. I also bought a shelf that fits on the crossbar. I sit my mixer on the shelf and my whole rig is right there at my fingertips. The only drawback is that the stand is a little heavy. But it more than makes up for it with stability and ease of set-up.

Can a second tier be added to this stand? If so, which one? Thank you. Floyd
