So far, I love this stand. My old one was getting pretty rickety, and I just bought a $4,000 keyboard, so I wanted a nice heavy duty stand to hold it, and this does a great job! I can play heavy and I don't have to be afraid of it toppling over or losing it's balance. It's a little heavy, but I love how small it folds down and it's easy to adjust, you can leave the legs extended and still fold in the sides so you don't have to readjust them every time!

If you're packing a heavy keyboard load, you'll need one of these. I am running a Hammond XK-3C with the additional lower manual (XLK-3)and this stand doesn't even squint when loaded. It adjusts to any fit, from a single keyboard to the more broad configurations, such as the double-manual organ, and can vary in height from uncomfortably low to excessively high. When the gig is over, this stand, after having supported a huge load, folds up to the size of what is not much larger than a tennis raquet. It is very stable, even when the mounted keys are being aggresively played. There is some very slight movement, but nothing you'll notice while playing. Ia addition, the rubber stops do an excellent job of freezing the load in place. If I had to choose one word to describe this piece, it would be: STOUT. They'll probably put my casket on it when I die.

I recently began to get additional work writing and producing for my publishing company. So I purchased the essentials of a good 24 track recording studio. However I wanted my computer keyboard and keyboard synthesizer to slide from underneath the wood top, while my mixer/speakers and rack modules lay on-top of the wood top. This is where the Quik-lok stand takes control. I purchased (2) Quik-Lok stands and placed it underneath my 7ft wood table. I was able to manipulate the legs in the center so I would have the proper space to add the sliding computer tray and keyboard tray underneath my table, without interfering with the leg support in the center of the table. So the table and structure I mentally designed, came to life. Pros: Strong, flexible, options for you to become creative Cons: I had to wait a month after I paid for the stand to receive it due to "back-order", which affected all retailers.
