Would purchase this item again!

Already have a few of these and never had a problem with these They hold my electric guitars securely and won't mar the finish. Can collapse these to be more compact for travel.

Jack sits on the support and its too close to the ground

Stand seems nice and solid at 1st glance but you cant sit your instrument on the stand with your cable plugged in. If you have a center jack it sits too low to the ground to leave it plugged in unless you have a angled cable jack, and if you have a side jack like I do, the jack sits directly on the guitar stand support. If you change the setting on the guitar stand to the more narrow setting so your cord is not hitting the ground and the jack is not sitting on the support then the other support hits your knobs. Also, if you have the stand in the most open setting then the guitar rests on the neck of your guitar instead of the body, mine does at least. And in the more narrow setting it just doesn't feel stable. Id be afraid it would fall down. Returning mine which is an enormous hassle 1 week before a gig. All around its just a bad product. Especially for the price.

If you are in the fence about the Fender Player series, jump off and get one! I'm very happy with mine!

  • I would definitely recommend this stand. Very good quality.

For my 30 year career I have used no other guitar stands and wouldn't even consider anything else.
